Campaign Aims
The "King Size" Creme Egg Campaign is intended to act as a voice for Creme Egg lovers everywhere and is entirely non-commercial.
The aims of the campaign are to:
1) Propose a new "King Size" Creme Egg - one and a half times the size of the standard product (3.375 times bigger by volume).
2) Demonstrate the level of demand for a "King Size" Creme Egg to Cadbury by collecting electronic petition signatures.
3) Assist Cadbury with Creme Egg product development.
It is estimated that the "King Size" Creme Egg would weigh approximately 130g and contain around 590 calories!
The one and half size ratio is proposed as a compromise between being 'more than a mouthful' for consumers and the anticipated manufacturing and marketing implications for Cadbury.
